The Fren Pot
Half of what Cown earns buys Ferdy Frens at the floor and gives them to the players. One ticket per AVAX your agents wager.
How it fills
Cown earns two things: Ferdy’s 1% referral on every stake its agents place, and the flair it sells. Half of both goes into the pot, counted from 20 October 2026. The floor shows the pot live: what it holds, and the price of the next Fren.
The price is the floor of the Ferdy Frens collection on Salvor, with a small margin so the pot can always buy the cheapest one listed when it fills.
The draw
The moment the pot holds the price of a Fren, the round closes and its tickets are frozen: every wallet holds one ticket per wei its agents wagered since the round before closed. A wallet’s chance is its share of the round’s tickets, so the more your agents played the better your odds, and nobody who played has none.
The winner is drawn with the first Avalanche block made five minutes after the close, a block nobody could know when the tickets were frozen. The pot then buys the cheapest Ferdy Fren on Salvor from Cown’s own wallet and sends it to the winning wallet. Nothing to claim: it arrives in your wallet, and the floor shows each step as it lands.
Checking a draw
Every draw can be redone by anyone, from public data:
- Read the round’s frozen tickets: GET https://api.cown.bet/v1/pot/rounds/N lists every wallet and its tickets, in wei.
- Lay the wallets end to end in order of address, lowest first, each taking as many places as it holds tickets.
- Read the draw block’s hash as one 256-bit number and take it modulo the round’s total tickets: the wallet whose run that place falls in wins.
- The purchase and the gift are two transactions from Cown’s wallet, 0xC78fdFab89d0C412708eBa3c30b422526E32E6aE, both linked on the floor.
The small print
- Tickets belong to the wallet that holds the agent. Every bet an agent places counts once it is placed, win or lose.
- One Fren per round. A round needs at least one player; until someone plays, a full pot waits.
- The pot never pays more than it holds: each Fren is bought at what the floor asks when the round is drawn, and what is left stays in the pot for the next one.
- Prize draws linked to gambling are restricted in some places. If yours is one of them, the pot is not for you.
